Am Schock they even have a dog breed. What they do to dogs in China,korea,Vietnam and some other south east Asian country is so deplorable ..smh.

I have a Mixed breed dog that is part lab, we are starting to think that she is partly this breed as well. We got her from the shelter and she fits so much of this description

I like these dogs. Theylook familiar .i think they would make good hog dogs 6 or seven at a time could bring down a Texas hog or Hawaii. Very nice breed i like them better then the thais and the breeder is very knowledgeable and mui simpatica.
Most common dog in Vietnam. Really lovely breed. I live in Ho Chi Minh and you see a lot of them on short chains to be "shop dogs". Its a great dog breed but sadly the knowledge on how to raise dogs and make proper use of them is nearly non existent. Many are beaten and dog thieves roam around quite a lot to transport and sell them as meat (dog meat is still a thing in the north of Vietnam). Im happy to see that there is a breeder outside of Vietnam, so the breed as a chance to thrive.
Ha! I found an indonesian streetdog and she came back 25% Thai ridgeback. The thing I found relatable is the need for a lot of exercise, activities. From a pup if she didn't have all the things stated in this video it was TROUBLE. I gave up my job in Indonesia because of the needs of this dog. The critical thinking of my dog cracks me up. It's like playing chess. YES good strategists.! She worked out how to open dog gates in the house and can climb anything. It's astonishing and fascinating owning a more primitive type dog. At nearly two she gets on with all dogs including my pomchi, is friendly to children and strangers and has a good recall. She lives in the UK and isn't fazed by the terrible weather. Very hardy and adaptable. She has made me extremely fit. I guess we do about 2-3 hours a day of exercise now but as a pup it was go, go,go and about 6 hours a day. I thought Holly had major separation anxiety but I'm learning that these dogs just naturally want to be with their owner all the time. So having one is a big decision. You have to dedicate most of your day to play and walks. As long as they get enough stimulation and exercise they are wonderful.

There's three ridgeback breeds the most popular is the rhodesian,then thai, now this vietnamese ridgeback..what one do you like best ? Me I like the biggest ridgeback so that's the s.african rhodesian ridgeback

I would rather have an indoor dog than outdoor dog. I had a couple of dogs and neither were outdoor.
The electric company wanted to make sure my dog was tied down. I did that once. No way would it every done again.
I saw my dog get run and get into a choke mode. No way would that ever be done again.
